Fitchburg Sustainability Bike Tour

Bike Fitchburg and City staff are leading a sustainability tour of Fitchburg by bike on Saturday, May 22. The group will begin at the civic campus (City Hall) parking lot at 1:00pm, biking to several locations in west-central Fitchburg over a 2- to 2.5-hour tour. The group will talk about a few of the steps taken in recent years to reduce the city's ecological footprint and enhance residents' access to nature areas and high-quality ecosystem services.

Ride guides will be present to help keep the group together and safe, but no equipment will be provided, so please bring your own bike, helmet, and water, and wear comfortable clothes for the weather and a ~9-mile ride with numerous stops along the way.

Registration for the event is strongly encouraged to assist with planning, and participants must sign a waiver prior to riding.
